In the early stages of AF, you get high cortisol. Mine was really high, almost double or more than double what the highest in range number was across the board. If you continue to have high cortisol, then eventually you get to the point where your adrenals are becoming depleted and you start to have a mix of high and low cortisol and then finally low cortisol across the board.
So, it is possible that you've got high cortisol if you've not been sick long. Each person is different and each person has a different reaction to whatever causes the adrenal fatigue and each person starts off with a different level of vitality and adrenal health. So, it's hard to say where you are in the adrenal fatigue. If you don't get nauseous or low blood sugar, that's a really good sign as those are low cortisol symptoms.
Oh, you might find pregnenolone helpful too. Try 50mg-100mg to start to see if it helps with your fatigue and stamina. Again, take notes.
Glutathione is helpful too as it is an antioxidant and liver detoxifier. The reduced form is what you need.
