If it's any condolence, I think this treatment is quite brilliant. It's obvious that it's the outer-most layer that is damaged and steam has been said to moisturize the outer layer of skin and, assuming this is a wound of some sort, the heat increases circulation to promote healing. I'm closing in on a week and I think I'm going to continue for a while longer and see where it takes me because it does seem to prevent the peeling in a pretty natural way. I strongly believe we will beat this. It's not always easy to, but I SAW my top lip heal, so I know it's not out of the question. Good luck.
