I live in France, I used to buy it in some shops selling organic foods and supplements. It was rather expensive, about 13 US Dollars for 150 grams, but I desperatly needed it at the time. I was mixing the charcoal with some Bentonite clay (much cheaper) most of the time. I've taken up to 5 Tbsps activated charcoal a day.
