Once I get into ketosis I've discovered that hunger isn't an issue at all. It's the psychological desire for food that gets me every time. The thinking and planning to eat something I enjoy. Staying busy helps, but in the evening the urge to eat gets strong for me. It's 3:25 PM and I'm sitting here thinking about--what else?--what's for dinner. I'm not even hungry. I've been eating one meal a day thanks to my repeated attempts to get a fast going so the hunger is gone. It's just that psychological craving for the smell, taste and mouth texture of food that's pulling at me. I try to remind myself about the back pain, the fatigue and everything else that ails me, but it's so easy to just say I'll start tomorrow. Then tomorrow comes and I'm right back where I started. Does anybody have some useful tips for me to keep myself on track?
