I do not know about the Iodine protocol. Sorry!

However I know that candida depletes mag. so, if you do not take mag. your body still needs it and it is going to go remove some from your muscles and your going to end up having no tone into you flabby muscle.

A solution could be to use caprylic acid:an antifungal which contains a mix
of calcium, magnesium and zinc caprylate. Sometimes you may even buy it with extra magnesium. Thisway you would kill candida (and not feed it) while getting the mag. intake your body needs.

I know how flaring up can be nasty I too want to be on the safe side. But - before taking the mag. supplement I did get very flabby muscles and I want you to know about the outcome.
