I just got TSH results back that show me to have hypothyroidism, although I never had anything like that before I got my Mirena inserted 2 years ago. I just removed the Mirena this past Friday and will recheck levels in about a month. I will return to repost regarding my new levels post-Mirena. I've also had joint pain in my knees since the summer that cannot be explained (had a clean MRI and have been going to PT since the summer). I never had joint or knee issues before inserting Mirena. Too many coincidences in my book!
