I appreciate all of you taking the time to respond. It is very kind of you.
Wrenn, I have heard that public nudity is the norm in Europe. Having never been there though, I will just have to take everyone's word for it. I very much appreciate your story. It isn't always easy to share such intimate details, but sometimes it is the best way to get your point across. Thank you.
I have done some research into the bible, and for the life of me can not find any where that says, thou shalt wear cloths. I understand the selfconscience feelings of Adam and Eve when they discovered that they were naked, but so what? When children are young, no one seems to have a problem allowing them to run the beaches naked. At what point do we start to become aware? and why? The more I consider this topic, the more I wonder if it isn't a result of American ideas. Obviously these are founded in the orignal settlers, and their Puritan, or other strict religous ways, but for what purpose? There are cultures all over the world that only wear clothing for ceremonial obsurvance. They don't seem to have a problem with public nudity, bathing ect...
Any other thoughts?
