The problem with p 0 r n is that it does not portray safe or healthy sexual relations between trusting individuals - it is usually based upon dominance, control, damage, etc. Unfortunately, the visuals of p 0 r n can become so pervasive in a man's psyche (they are primarily "visual" in their sexual responses) that the only thing they can picture while they are having sex with their partners are the images that have been burned into their minds via p 0 r n. More importantly, it is vital that you realize that sex does NOT equal love. Men and women can (and, DO) have sex with anyone and anything - without a bond of trust, respect, care, and love, it is just a simple release.

Having said that, p 0 r n is just a symptom of your relationship. If you aren't involved in a legal, binding agreement (marriage), don't own real estate together, and have not produced offspring, there is no reason to remain with any man (this guy, or anyone else) that treats you in such a manner. Even if you WERE married, owned property, or had a child together, counseling might (or, might not) help to reassemble the relationship and you would likely be consulting a divorce attorney before long - abuse is a very difficult illness to cure. No woman or man should allow themselves to be abused emotionally, physically, sexually, financially, spiritually, etc, particularly when they realize that they are, indeed, being abused by their partner.
