Hi your experience sounds similar to mine. I couldn't straighten up for the pain after insertion. Whilst i don't want to be the bringer of bad news, as you never know your body might adjust to the IUD and you might then think it is the best thing since sliced bread, but for me the best thing i did was to get it removed. My symptoms were immediate and they did not settle as my GP had thought they would. I was told give it more time etc etc. After nearly 3 months my gp agreed i had given it long enough. He thought my body was rejecting the iud and thinks i've had a mini stroke because of it. Needless to say i have nothing good to say about the iud from my experience of it but good luck to the women suited to it. Hope this helps you make your decision and good luck. :o)
