I don't know why but magnesium citrate never worked for me. It did pretty much the same thing as Oxypowder did--the poop would sit in my bowels liquified! Isn't that odd? I'd have to do an enema to get it out and it would be all liquid. Wierd. I think my bowels are pretty screwed up though. I remember doing lots of Liver Flushes a few years back...even the Epsom Salts would not make me go. My bowels would just swell. My colonic lady said I had hardly any bowel tone. But I know they're a lot better now because the sauerkraut makes me have about one bm a day.
Well enough poop talk for one night :-) Ha ha.
