I would first pick up the book ’The Safe Uses of Cortisol’ by William Jefferies (he spent his life working with Cortisol).
Cortisol was the only thing that allowed me to gain some weight back, and I needed it for about 5-6 months, very low dose. I only used 10mg a day, eventually 5mg and then off. I’ve been off for a year now and still have a healthy weight.
I would recommend finding out what your cortisol curve is, so you can tell when to take it. For myself I only took it in the morning, as my cortisol was very low. Taking it at any other time of the day, would give ...
