I was diagnosed with BV too, and they gave me antibiotics that made me mad sick. Now whenever I have discharge, I simply don’t know what it is anymore. Something has to be radically done, for sure, because there isn’t much knowledge or information out there. The reason you’re not bleeding means your hormone levels are low. When the hormone level drops rapidly (PMS), the uterus sheds the endometrium, but after the first day of your period the hormones should start increasing again. It’s not an STD - I’ve never had an STD, and I just got tested again too. The symptoms are just like a yeast infection. Not much itching, just a lot of white/yellowish curdy discharge. A while ago a doctor tested my pH and said I had something like yeast only a different bacteria - when the pH goes ”the other way” as she said. She prescribed these antibiotics that made me vomit withing two days, so I couldn’t take them. Either way, I hate antibiotics and it didn’t seem like the right thing to do. She did say that sperm is acidic, so sex can make it worse.   [End]

I’ve heard that you can transmit things that are like yeast infections by sex. It won’t be yeast yeast, but something that has similar symptoms, sometimes worse.
