You should double check on doing the cleanse if you have food poisoning...I have no experience in that department... #1 I don’t think it is recommended to drink water, (I did not think I would make it without drinking water, but I was able to). #2 You can go to the bathroom as much as you need to. I heard some noise for a few minutes right after the oil went down. I felt better the next day after the biggest stone flushed out (the size of a lima bean). Liver flushes don’t necessarily clear up bowel problems. She must do some bowel cleansing. I suggest she read some of the links within the link below. Read ALL about bowel cleansing (Journey to the Center of the Colon article for sure!). Also, like Yemaya suggested, maybe some emotional/spiritual type cleansing would be good for her too. I am doing fine, thanks for asking....nothing new...How are you? I will be doing by 2nd flush next weekend (hopefully)...I did start to feel a small pain 2 days after my 1st flush...I can’t be sure if it was paranoia or early signs of an attack...I drank some water and ES fast...it went away within 10 mins. Hi all. Well here is what happened since my last post: I drank the 4th dose of ES at 10:12 am and almost couldn’t get it down. After about 20 minutes I started feeling slightly nauseous. I decided to take a hot bath to try and make the feeling go away. I was in the bath for about 20-30 minutes when I started feeling very shaky and dehydrated. Hi Mandy, Congrats on your baby. You have to listen to your body...if you are in pain you must do something. Only you can decide what “something” is. How many times have you had the pains? At least is did not happen while you were pregnant. I have had 5 attacks since June 11, 2003 (3 in the last week). Hi. I am awake now. It is 3:55AM. The oil was horrible to me. I almost threw it up 5 times. I kept it down. I drank it with a straw and it took me 25 minutes to finish (I hope that doesn’t mess this up!). I really tried my best to drink it as fast as I could without gagging on it. I wish I could do the third ES dose right now to get it over with. Even if this works I do not know if I could ever do it again. Very strange. Since I have been sick, I drink apple juice everyday (approx. 1.5 gallons). On the days I have not had as much I start to feel sick. Everytime I eat, I drink apple juice and it seems to help me. Maybe it was an attack from the food you had earlier. Well, good luck.   [End]

No. There were no signs of jaundice. My doctor thought there would be and told me to get to the hospital ASAP if my skin or eyes started to turn yellow. First I had some blood work done and then I had to get an ultrasound. The ultrasound is how they determined I had at least 5 stones. Of course they didn’t tell me the size or offer any further information, but what can you expect when all they want to do is refer you to a surgeon? Same thing happened to me in June...the Doctor was checking for Gallstones in the gallbladder and the enzyme levels in my liver. Apparently, when you have gallstones and they get stuck, your liver enzymes go up. I am still learning about gallstones, but this forum has been a lifesaver. I am going to do my first flush tomorrow (Sat. July 19, 2003).
