I have been dealing with food sensitivities for many years. I am not processing fats, proteins not much better. I eat and eat. I includes lots of fats in the form of nuts and oils. I have candida overgrowth. I’m so glad you chose to share your experience! I began the diet, was doing great (as far as my bowels were concerned) for the 1st 3 weeks. Downhill from there. Losing more weight, getting new symptoms: a hyper-type bowel with scary feelings of anxiety. My latest discovery also is that most of these symptoms are related to food sensitivities! Everything I’ve read in the candida books and articles about stevia say that it’s OK to use. I did the Arise and Shine cleanse and felt wonderful on it. I think the FDA is just trigger happy when it comes to natural treatments. I know several other people who have done it too and have experienced wonderful results. Another cleanse that I will try is Ejuva. It is based on ayruvedic. I actually think it is better and gentler on the system then Arise and Shine because it does not use bentonite. But overall they are both effective and thorough! Good Luck   [End]

I am familiar with the mucoid plaque you talk about and the book by Richard Anderson. I did the cleanse called Arise and Shine and experienced rather quickly what is described as mucoid plaque. I used bentonite and psyllium as well as two different combinations of herbs and a probiotic. It worked great but was rather scheduled. Bernard Jenson also discusses this mucoid plaque, but I followed Richard Anderson’s book.
