As someone who has used Panacur, I thought I would offer my humble opinion in addition to the above bit of accurate confusion: for the same 150-155lb body weight, 3 notches twice a day for 5 days every two weeks as needed. Fenbendazole is not weaker than Albenza in my opinion though Albenza may target more species. Under dosing is just as bad as over dosing. If you can’t take Albenza try the fenbendazole at 10mg/k/ day for 5 days every two weeks until you get relief. It is much easier on the liver.   [End]

The fishben comes I packets of 250mg each. The recommended dose of fen is 10mg/k/ day divided into two doses for 5 days every two weeks. Some take half those dose on a daily basis. For a 70k person, that would be 350mg per dose. Fen is also available as horse paste called Safeguard or Panacur and as a drench (throat drench) for goats. I have used just a dab on a very itchy blister/bleb just inside my rectum. Didn’t burn and stopped the itch cold. I would think if you inserted an entire dose it would absorb into your bloodstream just as it would on any mucous membrane. What did you read? Something saying it works better rectally? Ivermectin horse gel/paste can be bought for as cheap as $4/tube online or at farm and ranch supply stores. Generic versions like Duramectin. Dose is .2mg/k I believe. Correct dose for the drench is in ICU protocols here. Think the drench is blue. There is also a post with pics on how to measure the paste dose. Albenza is called Valbazen drench from drenching the back of the animals throat. White milky looking liquid pint or quart. .eBay or amazon or almost any vet supply. Suggest you study ICU’s protocol carefully. They contain the info on how long to take meds. I see that you have been using a zapper. That’s great if it works for you but ICU’s protocol says to stop zapping and herbals while on meds. Thanks for all the replies. From researching schistosomiasis and other flukes, it seems that their juvenile larvae can and do exit the skin. They are small,,less than 1/8 inch long, linear white dried particles. When actually observed coming from thighs after bm mostly-they look like tiny white moist maggots. Which drop off into the toilet water. If there are many of them, they do resemble the yuk that comes from a vaginal yeast infection, but just when smeared and wiped. After much research what I found was the only disinfectant that kills eggs is pure alcohol but it has to be at a dangerous concentration not readily available. There is one girl on curzone who uses Stoly drinking alcohol. Expensive. What kills eggs is 100 degree heat for over an hour. So, I use permethrin and pyrethrin sprays. Sayam, I do remember reading the eggs need oxygen to hatch as someone mentioned above, but as of now, I feel it may be better to kill them on the outside, preferably before they hatch. Seems to be working better. Am using a mixture of coconut oil-solid- and Nu-stop, which a horse linament suggested by ICU. It has a high sulfur content and I think she says it will kill the eggs. I am a newcomer here and by no means an expert, but I have been having die off symptoms- nothing like that. I believe wormwood to be rather toxic, especially if you are allergic to ragwood, you may also be sensitive to wormwood. I have read it has a long half life, can stay in your system for a week or more. I would stop taking it, Google to find symptoms of allergic reaction, and if you are trying to treat a specific parasite; I highly recommend ICU’s protocols here on this forum, using drugs.   [End]

She has lots of info you need including exactly what to order and how much to take, plus tips for dealing with the itching, etc. iIt is goat/cattle ”drench” called Valbazen, but is for oral use in animals. 400mg is 3.5 ml. No. Don’t think parasites cause cancer though I have read some studies showing that the meds for parasites have shown some positive action against cancer cells. For instance-Google ”why was Vermox taken off market in US”. Chemo is a bit overboard for treating parasites.
