Mine went to my ankle area, knees, face and head mostly. There are no meds that will kill worms eggs.Ivermectin has some success with this. You will need to take the pyrantel/mebendazole weekly for a few months to kill all the worms that will hatch because you have various stages in your body at the same time. The key to killing the adult worms is doxycycline or tetracycline for nine weeks minimum plus albendazole 400 mg twice a day with 40 grams fat for 28 days and ivermectin 7 days on it and 3 days off until you are done with the albendazole. You are right about the acid reducers making this much worse. Auto infection is a big cause of heavy infection. I found that treating weekly with pyrantel and doing enemas the next day got me to the point of being ahead of the buggers and able to beat them down to practically nothing. now I just treat monthly in case of reinfection.
