Hello, I have never done a fast before, but am contemplating it as a means to increase my energy level, and to clean myself out a little bit (get rid of toxins and the like).
I am looking into doing a 3 day Juice Fast - Fruit and Veggie Juices. The one thing I’m scared of is getting nauseous and feeling ill. I want to take it slow. (NOTE: I am 30 years old, and healthy...no known medical problems.)
Does anyone have any advice on how to go about a first time fast? Is there anything I should watch out for? Is it generally considered safe? Should I contact a doctor before doing it?
