Hi guys, Can anyone help. My mum has been diagnosed with High blood glucose (10) was (6) in Jan. We have stuck to the right diet for almost 18 mths now. this high blood glucose is obviously associated with mums cancer, and possibly indicates pancreatic primary. I suppose we just see a dramatic reduction in the CA199 marker from 188 to 24 with the chemo, but an increase from 24 to 71 after the alternative. Its only natural for us to feel reluctant to spend another £4000 on a treatment that may not be working (according to the test and the fact mum has lost appetite and lost weight).

Hi guys, just want to update any of you who know me on the results of my mums B17 and Vit C treatments.
We did a course of 5 weeks, 3 treatments per week of IV Vit C 50g per treatment(she couldnt tollerate 75g), and 9g per treatment of B17.
Throughout the treatment mum felt a bit better with a bit more energy (whether this was because she was off the chemo, we dont know). As she has osteoporosis she was still suffering with that though.
We finished the treatment first week in March and just had our blood results.

Well, apparently high doses of vitamin c given intravenously does not cause diarrhea, this only occurs when large amounts are taken orally as it has to be metabolised.
We were told, no more than 9grams per day orally, is a good balance. Any more than 20grams can be more harmful when taken orally, thus the recent comments on vit acutally causing cancer, what they should have said is daily intake of massive amounts orally, of 20grams and more can increase the risk of acutally developing cancer.

The reason we have decided to undergo B17 with Vit C is because my mum had a chemo sensitivity test where the malignant cells were exposed in vito to both chemo drugs and biological modifiers, two of them being vit c and b17. Out of 30 biological modifiers b17 killed 87% of the culture and Vit c killed 42% of the culture, thus giving us a clear indication if this form of treatment is worth undergoing. Lots of other modifiers including ukrain, IP6, iscador, hydrogen peroxide didnt show much sensitivity suprisingly.

This is the problem, constant contradicting advice. I know people are being helpful on here but I have been researching alt cancer therapies for a year now, and still I feel I am going round and round in circles as to getting settled, and relying in one therapy, I will read, or someone will tell me the opposite, then we change, then someone then says go back to what you were doing originally. you cant win basically.

I think you have been MISADVISED. Doing the coffee enema without the level
of juices to sustain the detoxification which occurs is not good practice. (obviously we will do the proper juicers once we get on enemas properly and get the correct coffee and water mentioned).
It should also be monitored, with blood tests by a practitioner to make sure
that the patient is coping with the therapy itself. Unless this is happening
your mum should not be doing more than 3x 8oz juices and no more than 2
enemas a day. (another dilema - there are no gerson practitioners in the north of the UK ...

Originally, mum was advised by a local nutritionist to take calcium ascorbate as a buffered vit c, then upon posting on here, I think it was 2tuff that sugested that we change to ascorbic acid as it was the most effective form of vit c. Which we did, and it did cross my mind ”what about acidity”, so yet you have now suggested changing back to the buffered version. ok, latest update on my mum, although she is still on the chemo.
I recently started her on the silver pulsar, we aim to two hours per day as instructed, been doing this for the last 2 weeks.
ALso, she has been taking himalayan salt, half teaspoon per day, and drinking lots of filtered water.
She is taking Vit C in higher doses now, ie 5g x 3 per day (solgar ascorbic acid crystals). Along with 200 - 300mg Q10, 200mg alpha lipoic acid, acidophillus powder, a good multivitamin/minerall complex, quercetin x 3/4 per day (500mg capsules).

Update on my mum, we went to the hospital today, they did the usual blood test, and I asked about liver function, they said there is some slight abnormality in her enzyme levels, and ”sodium was low”, so 2tuff, does this mean the same as we were talking about earlier, she does have a lot of water per day. Not sure if this a different thing though.
She also has bone scan on friday to check for severe lower back pain which she has been having, we are not sure if its a muscle pull or something which we hope it isnt. [End]

This is a great story to read! however, my mum had a Chemosensitivity test, (via her natruopath) which included testing of ”biological modifiers” including Ukrain, B17, along with others... suprisingly Ukrain did nothing for my mums paticular cancer, however B17 seemed to be the most effective in killing 85% of the cell culture invito!
So I suppose everyone is different, what works for one, may not for another. I would recomend this test before spending thousands on Ukrain as it is quite an expensive treatment.

On the risks of protein, just a bit confused about the risks you mentioned ie cancer, diabetes, osteoporisis. Lots of bodybuilders have taken very high doses of protein for years. I myself aim for 1g per lb of my body weight as I do work out a lot with weights too, as recomended by fitness professionals.

Our naturopath said to increase protiein intake to maintain body weight and stop edema, which mum is begining to get.

Hi guys, sorry to yet again ask a basic question, but my mum is having a hard time cutting up fruit and veg all day to make juicers. As well as ozonating and making meals. I have read that the enzymes and nutrients die off within 20 mins or so of juicing, so it has to be made fresh every time. Problem is, its hard work for my mum and is making her more tired (not very productive in the fight against cancer). I work full time and find it hard to have enough time off to help.
