I have had the same diagnosis and my kidney count went back to normal after I discontinued the antibiotics. I still drink lots of water to help flush out toxins. Good luck.   [End]

I go to the nyphrologist on Monday. My countis even lower now and I am only 56. I do not take diabetes meds...just watch my count at this point. I check it each morning fasting and 2 hours after dinner. I think they will probably want to change the lasix I’ve been on for many years. I’ve retained at least 11 pounds of fluid since I was 30 years old. Something hormonely happened that could never be corrected. There in lies the cause of the lasix for so long. I pray there is no permanent kidney damage. Please add your prayers. This nyphrologist is an expert at changing meds to work ...

I had a physical last week. I am on 2 blood pressure medications and 2 diuretics and cholesterol meds because I had a surprise triple bypass a little over a year ago. My kidneys have not been functioning correctly since. I have also been diagnosed with diabetes. My kidney count last time (three months ago) was 46.49 and this time it is 42.3.
