Hi there, I had the mirena inserted 10 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I had intensely itchy skin and this week woke up with joint swelling and pain in every joint. Worse in hands. I’ve never experienced this before. I found this site and immediately had it removed. 4 days later the pain has slightly subsided. Did others make a full recovery, how long did it take? I’m feeling very miserable. I’m generally so active and have 2 small children that I now don’t have the strength to pick up.   [End]
