I believe Starr and Brownstein both agree that you shouldn’t take thyroid meds at the same time as Iodine. But I’m not 100% on that. Generally you don’t want to take prescription medication together with you supplements anyway. You just don’t know how they will interact. I would say wait at least an hour before and after your Cytomel. [End]

My GF had several large nodules in her thyroid (goiter) for over 12 years until she started taking iodine (iodoral). It took her a while starting with a small doses (half a pill with all the supporting supplements increasing over monthly) but her goiter went down for the first time in 12 years and her nodules are shrinking. Amalgam/Mercury Dental Filling & EC (peeling lips)

Has anyone had any success with Exfoliative Cheilitis (peeling lips) after amalgam removal? I read an article a couple years ago suggesting that amalgams could be the cause for peeling lips. Come to think of it, my problems started around the time I had the first ”amalgam fixes”. And it got progressively worse as I had a few more put in. [End]
