I agree, numbers aren’t that big for me either. More than reaching the goal weight I want to look in the mirror and not see flab. That being said, I check my weight everyday. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but since I don’t panic to see a few extra pounds, I doesn’t really deject me. But I find that checking my weight everyday motivates me to stay on track, and it’s very inspiring to see evidence of progress. You’re doing a parasite cleanse also? Then I agree.....fasting could be dangerous. Not only that, but you actually need food to keep the dead matter in your stomach moving. But veg/fruit/nut fast would work extremely well in this situation, since you’re not deprving yourself of anything. Plus the fiber will cleanse out your stomach. If you’re diabetic, I would recommend less fruits or any particularly sweet stuff. Oh sweetie, here’s a BIG hug from me! Where to start.....that would depend on your health and goals. Many people here do water-only fasts for extended periods, sometimes even past 40 days. Personally I find that scary, and don’t want to risk electrolyte imbalances and stones in my liver/gallblader. I’m opting to do a juice fast like a few other. I was just wondering if there was some way to cure cavities that have started developing? You are absolutely right about toothbrushes, a recent study revealed that all toothbrushes in all the bathrooms tested had some fecal matter on them. Well I’m not an expert, so I can only speak from my experience so far: 3 hours should be enough. I myself start bm’s about 1/2 hour after the SWF (though average is 1-2 hours) and then I spend about 45 minutes on the bowl straight. I don’t know what’s normal for people, but I’m guessing most people will spend this amount of time expelling. It’s easier to just stay on the bowl the whole time since the frequency of expulsions is fast. NO! Anyone on this forum will tell you that. The whole point of the cleanse is to give your digestive system a rest. By eating foods, whatever the amount, you’ll be bypassing any good effects. If you’re having trouble with not eating anything, maybe you want to do a raw food diet or something of the sort and gradually ease into the MC by decreasing the food quantity till you’re not eating solid foods? A couple of texts are lurking around on peoples homepages, especially if they’re devoted to natural medicine. You could also try these ’eLibraries’ or that sort of thing, but I doubt that they’d store such materials. Finally, there might be some sites that are devoted to making old books electronic...like the Gutenberg Project.
