Glad to read this encouraging message. I experienced light-headedness, anxiety, fog brain, ocular migraines and recently painful bloating to an extreme degree, and I’ve had it for a year and a half now. I’ve had pain after sex and spotting and minimal cramping the whole time but these other symptoms more recently and IVE HAD IT. I am having mine removed today. I’m glad to see your message because I read so many others where their negative symptoms did not subside, and some even got immune disorders and arthritis etc - makes me very scared. I’m going to have my mirena removed today. After reading through this forum I am discouraged and less hopeful. Has anyone’s symptoms subsided after removal? I had it put in May 2009, so over a year now. The whole time I’ve had sporatic pain after sex, cramping and spotting every few months which I could tolerate. More recently I’ve noticed light headedness, dizziness, fog brain, and I had two ocular migraines which I’ve never had before in the last two weeks.
