Isn’t it grand that any edible plant, that hasn’t been genetically mutilated, won’t pick up any excessive element?
So, if we are tossing mercury into, say, our toilet water, or our rain, etc., our carrots won’t pick it up, nor our lettuce, or okra, and so on.
If a plant will pick up 5% of its nutrients in nickel it will do so into eternity, no matter how much is in the soil...unless someone thought themselves God, with ’permission’ to fool with things.
And, since mercury drifts toward the poles, isn’t it lucky that the polar bears shed it ...
