I think you are putting too much trust into meeting your iodine needs simply through your skin’s absorption. As Dr. Guy Abraham and other researchers have reported, most of the iodine applied to your skin evaporates. If you want to be assured your body is receiving the iodine you spend the effort and the money to supply, then  supplement either with a few drops of Lugol’s iodine in water or take Iodoral tablets.
