Be sure to ask what it looks for and what it doesn’t look for, no tests just pick up anything there is. Also, it must contain a fixative, otherwise many eggs and cysts will be gone when they reach the lab. It’s probably best to completely mash the garlic to make the enzymes get released from the vacuoles(they must burst), then dump it into a glass of water and stir to make a uniform solution I believe the conversion is very rapid but it may be worth to let it stand for an hour to be sure.
