I have the Waterpik brand. I have the big one in the downstairs bath where I have plenty of counter space and a mini rechargable one upstairs. The big one runs around $40. It is WELL worth the cost! I will definately get to those back teeth. I think Black & Decker makes one as well. They all work on the same principle. Hey Molly, they make a small waterpik that takes about as much room as a large electric toothbrush. It is chargable so you don’t have to have it plugged in all the time and can put it in a drawer. I have one for my upstairs bath where there is NO room for anything. I think using it is going to save one of my teeth that oil pulling just doesn’t seem to help with. I worked with a gal like that. She had several organs removed but they could never find anything wrong. She actually had the sympathy of the people in charge. I would only shake my head at their gullability or was it stupidity. For some reason it seems weird to put lugols in your coffee. I’m not much of a coffee drinker anymoer and usually put the lugols in my acv tea that I ”try” to do three times a day but only with lugols twice. My zits went way and no new ones. I put a few drops of Lugols into a almost empty bottle of water. I did’t think I could drink it plain light that so I dumped it into a glass that was sitting on the counter. Hey it looked clean! My mother has been doing the gin & raisins thing for over a year (or more) and swears by it. I started a few weeks ago. I also take ACV but not three times a day (I’m working on that). I’ve been doing 3 to 4 drops in grapejuice plus the pill. I haven’t noticed anything yet, except I’m not sleeping well. I wake up in the middle of the night and have a hard time going back to sleep. OK what’s the best way to start out. I have idoral and have been taking one tablet a day for four or five days. logols looks nasty enough to not want it straight. I have been back pulling regularly for about a month now. I finally added oregano oil this morning. Until now the sunflower oil I’ve been using (a different brand than usual) didn’t thicken up. I thought it was the oil, but after adding the OO it got nice and thick. Also I have been brushing with soda and sea salt. I pack it on the brush and shove it down into the two problem spots. I would suggest that you do what ever feels right for you. I don’t think there is a right or wrong way. Some folks pull for 20 minutes some for 5 and repeat some for 5 only or 10. Hmm. I like the part about the glasses. I have stopped wearing my glasses as well. I do not attribute it to Oil Pulling though. Is it the ACV that helps eliminate the uric acid? I started drinking it with honey and ceyene then I got an infection under my big toe nail. They did a test for uric acid and it was at 7.3 (5.5 being normal). So they figure the toe thing was gout although not in a joint. Whether it was or not I don’t want that to reoccur. Mini, The great thing about OP is you can do what feels best for you. Some folks pull for 20 min some for 5 min 4 times or just for 5 min. Some add other ingredients to the oil, some use different oils. Once you start Oil Pulling you will develop your own rythum as to what feels right for you.
