Here is a continuation of my diary of treating the parasite Blastocystis Hominis with the ten days of triple antibiotic therapy as recommended on badbugs.org Please see previous post for days one to five. So days six to ten were pretty hellish. Although it felt like the parasite was dying, the side efect symptoms just got worse. Hi all I am in Australia, was diagnosed with blastocystis caught while living overseas, must have had it for over a year. I am now half way through the triple antibiotic drug therapy as recommended by Jackie on badbugs.org. My main symptoms are chronic fatigue, bloating, farting, serious depression, lethargy, food intolerance (wheat, milk, artificial colourings etc) tiredness after eating, sore joints, stomach aches. Five days in it is not pleasant, the side effects of the drugs are intense. However if this gets rid of the blastocystis it will be worth it. I am a vegetarian any way ...
