Does anything kill the adult worms? I’ve been taking low dose albendazole for a few weeks and it does agitate them. The first night they birthed like crazy... and they still do very often. So the big guys don’t die on albendazole, they just make more babies. Could I drop albendazole because of the crazy birthing and focus on killing babies instead with a different combo of drugs? Or is albendazole the one agitating the adults neccesary?   [End]

Thanks... I’ve called many infectious disease specialists none will see me. I even contacted a doctor at UCLA that specializes in roundworm infections, just sent him a message asking about ELISA testing, obtaining one and finding a doctor that would take the information and use it. He asked me why I thought I had parasites and I told him I took Albendazole and saw tapeworms, hook worms, etc... also mentioned the alternative methods I had tried. He responded. It is impossible to see parasites after doing what you have done. I can not help you. --- really??? Not hmm that is interesting ...

Hi folks. Still alive. Backed off the heavy albendazole dosing. Now taking nearly all minerals and detox supplements in Matt’s document. Taking morning pyrantel pamatote. Evening albendazole, awaiting orders for other drugs. Got my ph up, that was critical to the way I feel. Things are a little crazy. Discovered I have strongyloides as well as ascaris and tapes. Tried my first dose of ivermectin horse paste last night and survived. Thank you Positive Mind, you probably saved my life. Wow. Only 24 hours on albendazole and die off is bad. I take 1000 mg of milk thistle daily. Perhaps I should increase... for the urgent issue at hand, I took a charcoal pill and did an enema. Feeling better. But am thinking I need to take a 24 hour break from albendazole or dial the dose back. Perhaps 100mg 4 times a day. Die off symptom is mostly chills and inability to sleep. Hence the 3 am message... saw lots so tapeworm pieces today. Yay for dying and suffering worms.   [End]

I’ve started 200 mg albendazole at, 4 doses per day. I’ll add praziquantel in 2 days or so after I get over the initial albendazole die off symptoms. Might take longer than 2 days. Do you recommend a break after 2 weeks on this dosing schedule? See no mention of this by mattk3. Also would it be useful to take pyrantel pamatote in low doses during this time? Sounds like 1 dose once per day? The younger stages of ascaris need other meds. Should I wait to dose ivermectin until I take a break from albendazole and praziquantel? Thank you for your reply. I have been reading and studying this out trying to decide what to do next. I think I am ready to focus on the tapeworms. What kills the big ones? A year or more on albandazole? I’ll try the low doses and see how it goes. You mentioned taking it a 6pm. So just a single dose per day? mattk3 , mentions a 3939 dosing. Should I start with low doses of albendazole on that schedule and add praziquantel? I’ve read through his document once, but I think it going to require a much more thorough study in order to come up with a game plan.   [End]

Curious what other do to keep yeast down while on anti parasite meds. I have a history of taking Diatomaceous Earth but recently cut it out, due to ICU’s recommendation. Everytime I’ve quit DE for longer than a week the yeast symptoms return... as in my hands dry out and I start getting little cuts, painful rashes between my fingers. I just want to start DE again. I don’t know any other solution (I take 2 probiotics a day, has little effect). Any suggestions?   [End]

I forgot to mention that eventually DE became less effective. I think my on again off again relationship with DE made it less effective. I am not using it right now. Perhaps if I had stayed on it when I first started I’d be better off, but I didn’t and will never know. Because now when I take it the 1-2 T morning and night the itching still remains although it is tolerable. So drugs for me.   [End]

I am sorry! I was so miserable last November when I was taking albendazole. But I discovered other critters then. I was trying to do Albendazole once every 10 days, but after three days the itching came back so I took it again. Then 3 days later they came back again.. so I did every day for about 10 days, on day 7 or so the itching was so intense I was in total denial that it was pinworms, it had to be anal fissures or something. After 3 days of that insanity I finally found a pinworm! Quit albendazole (despite the presence of tapeworms.. bad idea?) and started DE. DE was so helpful t ...

I had pinworms for a year before I realized that they were resistant because I was infested with ALOT of other parasites not because they were resistant to the medincine. So strange how the other ones hid so well, despite my constant bombardment with DE. After 8 or so days on albendazole I found I had tapeworms. Oddly, pinworms came back with a vengence while I was on Albendazole! I eventually got the worms undercontrol with DE again (just enough under control that I wasn’t suicidal by the itch). About to start the next mebendazole cycle. But thinking I’ll do one dose of pyrantel then 24 hours later start meb. I really like the idea of paralyzing them and sending them to their death that way. And then when I start Mebendazole there will be a few less worms and thus make die off a little easier on me. Good theory? Previously I included one heavy dose of albendazole (600 mg). Started with pyrantel pamatote one day then 600 mg albendazole the next then started mebendazole. I’ll look at the different pathways (since meb and alb are probably pretty much the same pathway). Question on ICU protocol. For combined infections (tapeworm- unknown species, but found ALOT back in Nov after 8 days on albendazole, ascaris-guess from visual inspection and quantity, liver flukes (saw curled up tomato skins, and pinworms) Most recently trying ICU protocol for ascaris. 1 week Meb then 1 week off, 1 week on, 1 week off. My second week I upped my dosage to 300mg when I could handle it and 100 mg when I couldn’t. Thank you everyone. I just figured out how to find my old thread! Thanks for all the advice. I have found some success since last posting. I believe the tremors and pain I was feeling all over my body was actually toxins going through my blood stream from killing off worms to quickly. I spoke to a doctor and of course they said to quit taking meds which I did for a while.. going back to old tried and true Diatomaceous Earth (that really isn’t as effective as it used to be) during that time. New to Curezone.
