The only thing I would say is don’t get the paraguard either. It comes with it’s own bag of problems as well. Anything that effect you natural balance is going to create hormone problems. Whether it has hormones in it or not, it still effect your natural cycle.   [End]

It could be the iud and it could be something else. You won’t really know unless you have it removed and stop having the attacks. My personal experience hasn’t been as severe, but I do have pretty bad anxiety. It started about a month after I had the iud inserted. I honestly thought I was just going through a funk, but my body is telling me something else. Accompanied with depression, jont pain, acne, heart flutters (which cause me more anxiety which cause more heart flutters) and a bunch of other stuff all rolled into one. Yes! I have had extreme difficulty having an cllmax. Sex has become painful in general, penetration causes sharp cramping pains. Even when I try to have strictly clitoral stimulation, when I get close to cllmax, I start having cramps, kills it for me every time. The whole point of having an iud is to be able to have a more carefree sexual experience with your mate. If the BIG O turns into a chore (or in my case, painful) what is the point?! I didn’t really realize it until just a couple days ago, but yes I think it have changed me in ways that are still becoming clear. I’m not married, but I’ve been in the same relationship for 11 years. First of all sex is almost nonexistient for us. I’ve had numerous BV infections since I got the iud. That is a terrible you haven’t been able to loss the weight with all that work! How discouraging that must be for you. Hopefully getting the IUD removed will do the trick. I personally haven’t had the weight issue but many many other problems. Pain, to the point I CAN’T have sex, depression, constant pms, HORRIBLE acne, numerous infections, etc etc. I found this site yesterday and I have scheduled to have my IUD removed on Friday. I know this is a long post, but I would really appreciate any feedback!! I had my mirena iud ”installed” about 8 months ago. I have developed BAD/PAINFUL acne, which I was aware could happen. That was annoying enough but for the past several months I’ve developed severe cramping.
