My daughter who is 9 has always had problems with constipation. 2 years ago she has bloody stools and the Doctors kept telling me to feed her more fiber (which she already eats). I took her to Mayo for colonoscopy and they removed a large polyp which was non cancerous. However, I am worried they will return. Is there something for this age child to do that is safe to keep this from happening again??? I think she carries alot of weight because of these dsigestive problems too. I was diagnosed with hcv in 1999. I also had live cirrhosis beginning stage and fibrosis. I did interferon and riboviron for 3 months and the stupid Dr I had took me off because there was no sign of virus after that time DUH. He didnt follow protocol but it didnt really matter. I would like any information regarding diet for liver cirrhosis. I have beginning cirrhosis from previous hepatitis C infection which is in remission. My liver is enlarged and uncomfortable and I dont seem to be processing foods easily as I gain weight very fast. I am trying digestive enzymes right now and have been trying Water Cure for the past few days.
