Thanks for your message. I have had the IUD for over 12 months, I hope to get in and see my Dr tommrow. See what she has have to say. On Wednesday 25/4 I had terrible back pain and my legs went like jelly. I managed to get to my doctors where this happened again. They sent to the hosptial where they done tests(not x-rays or scans). They didn’t come up with any reason for this happening and said it was nothing to do with the mirena. heres hoping I get somewhere this week. Sundaysgirl   [End]

Hello All I am so glad to have found this web site. I felt like I was going mad! Thank you to all the people who take the time to to post mail on here it has really helped. My dilema is do i have it out before i get married in August. I have had alot of the SIDE EFFECTS (doctors don’t agree) that most people have. My lastest is bad lower back pain where I was tkane to the hopstial because I could support my own weight. This feeling happened three time. They done lots of tests and came up with no answers other than ”ITS NOT THE MIRENA COIL”. I was sent home with pain killers. ...

Hi There At the stage where I am thinking of having coil out. I have had al the ”side effects” you have include thinking I had breast cancer. I have ben told I have IBS and ostio-arthritus. I am having counselloing because I have no interset in sex my body has shut down. (sone would say its from a past relationship 13yrs ago) after looking at this web site I don’t think it has anything to do with it.
