An IUD can cause scarring inside the uterus therefor in some cases leading to miscarriages (some miscarriages caused by the hormone itself) also with scarring, it can cause women to not EVER beable to carry a child. actually, from what i have heard about the copper IUD is that it doesnt cause nearly as many problems because it has no hormones, one of my friends have it and I talked to her yesterday and she said she hasnt had problems but its because its hormone free but in the case of the Mirena, because your body wasnt made with all of those hormones at such strong levels, your body goes into shock and tries to get rid of the contraption itself, almost think of it as having a child, once your baby is grown, the body expells it because it isnt suppose to be there anymore. whats causing you to be anemic is most likely the effects of the IUD itself. Were you ever anemic before??
