THANK YOU ALL for your replies today! I had an abdominal ultrasound today--that scanned liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts, spleen, both kidneys and the abdominal aorta----they would not tell me any results as it was being done----when one technician left the room, though, the other one said "I do not see any
Gallstones in your gallbladder whatsoever, the GB is normal size and the ducts do not look dilated"---I am really frightened now though because they came back and did extra imaging on my "abdominal aorta area". I think an aneurysm of the abdominal aorta is a very serious thing, way scarier than GB problems or GB surgery!!!! I cannot have the results until next Tues when I see the doctor. I am a basket case.
No, I have not done any flushes as of yet----scared, know I will be VERY VERY ILL----I gag very easily. I drank 1/2 tsp
Epsom Salt yesterday in a small glass of warm water and felt extremely nauseous all day long, and nearly vomited several times. I am wondering about this "Coca Cola Classic" flush--I just CANNOT DO
Epsom Salt no matter what---it was HORRIBLE. Just doing castor oil packs and herbs and diet modification, as well as massages.
One thing that concerns me about this site is that it seems people must KEEP ON FLUSHING from now on to keep their GBs intact! This is not something I can do indefinitely and obviously it is not a "cure"---just a temporary measure. If I knew surgery would eliminate the problem I would do it tomorrow, but of course none of us know if it will "fix" the problem or not, since stones are made in the liver! Also, it was mentioned again to me today that I may have "acalculous cholecystitis"---(ie gallbladder dysfunction/dyskinesia WITHOUT stones)---and people with this tend to be the ones whose pain is NOT ended with removing the gallbladder. However, some web sites state that people with this condition DO get relief after cholecystectomy in 75% of the cases......And I know 2 women my age (late 40's) who DID try
Liver Flushes and finally had to "throw in the towel" and get surgery ----and their gallbladders were described by them at the time of surgery as being "rotten and full of pus"---sorry to be so graphic, but saving something like that inside your body simply CANNOT BE HEALTHY......Life is so difficult....
I will make a decision about flushing after I see the results of the ultrasound on next Tues. Thanks again for the replies.....
