Digestive enzymes work for some people but never did anything for me. I also have heard that stomach acid might be able to neutralize them.. Well according to bee wilder's website. Hcl caps/Bile Salts and bitters seem to help much better.
Serrapeptase seems to be working..for now at least. It seems to help my congestion and give me a little energy in the morning. I take 2 capsules on a empty stomach.
I had GREAT digestion before my ND put me on loads of digestive enzymes. I took 2 different kinds, with food, and without food. I tried to stop them, and I felt worse then ever. Now back on them, and really notice everything is worse. He said my gut needs to heal (when I never even noticed a problem) so I took them. Now, a few months later, my digetion is getting worse, and I'm afraid they have made me worse. He told me you will still produce the necessary enzymes when you stop, anotherwords, you body will keep working it's own enzymes when you stop. But I feel I'm worse now. Something strange is going on. I took a gut permeable test last week. Maybe I have leaky gut.? Seems my digestion has really gone downhill lately.
I feel full, like food just sits in my stomach, undigested. (No dairy for me)
Taking supplemental enzymes causes the body to shut down its own production of those enzymes. So this is going to be allor part of the problem.
Another issue though is that many of the enzyme supplments on the market add cellulase and hemicellulase. These can make Candida worse:

I will post my results with lufenuron after my colonic tomorrow. I had die-off all 5 days. Lufenuron enema seemed to work i mixed it with a little sugar and held it for 20 min. Coconut kefir enema has stonger die-off than the lufenuron enema.
