I think the CDSA will be helpful. I don't trust those sort of machines. I try and stick with the hard
Science and my own experience/intuition as closely as possible. It's interesting to try that stuff, and it may be right that your gut is toxic, but I would want some better evidence.
Some people are sensitive to proteases, so your intuition about that product may be correct. Sensitive people often do better with Papain/Bromelain.
Personally, I try not to develop beliefs about what is wrong with me, or what I need to fix it. I go with the best evidence I can find, scientific tests, research, studies, etc. and avoid opinion, or anything related to marketing.
But as complex as we are, there's always the potential for something that should work to not work or have unintended effects. Sometimes it helps to simplify your regimen to get a better handle on causes and effects.
Also, make sure you're not overeating. I find that is the only time I have reflux/indigestion issues.
