So I have started the candida diet. So for all I have been eating is boiled chicken, green vegetables (swiss chard, lettuce, cucumber, celery, zucchini), some garlic in a soup made of the vegetables, brown rice, coconut oil and 1/4 tsp of fine
Sea Salt . It is day 2 and I am a bit concerned.
Yesterday my calorie total was only 900 calories. I try to eat a minimum of 1200 calories or 1600 if I exercise. Also my carb goal was only 69 yesterday out of 190. Also this diet is very low in fiber so I have been taking PB shakes in the morning and the evening.
I feel fine now but I wonder as they days progress I may start to develop vitamin and mineral deficiencies as well as causing damages to my metabolism. Am I doing the diet wrong? Is there anything else I can add that will help me reach my calorie goals without going into starvation mode? Should I eat more rice or add quinoa?
Is there a list/protocol that I can look at without having to buy pills or a book?
