Hi everyone,
I have been lurking these forums for a while.
in 2015 I developed chronic seb derm on scalp/face after a 6 month course of antibioitcs I took for Acne on my back (big mistake!)
just before these symptoms started I also had the following symptoms:
severe digestive problems (having really bad abdominal cramps at times)
watery bowl movements
severe sharp cramping in toes
sharp tingling in the eyebrow area
hair thinning
severe severe fatigue
Jock Itch
Athletes Foot
Severe Body Odor
Sleep paralysis
prior to this all happening, I always looked healthy (27 year old male here) I maintained a good weight, I ate all the junk food i ever wanted, an abundance of sugar, smoked cigarettes, binge drinking on alcohol for a number of years. So basically i was incredibly unhealthy and got away with it.
around 2014 I started to get symptoms of really bad Acne on my back. I now know that was my bodys way of eliminating toxins. Anyway I took a 6 month course of Antibiotics and I think this really screwed me up.
Fast forward today, I have rapidly changed my lifestyle. I have good sleeping habits, worked through alot of emotional things, eat quite a healthy Diet where i prepare and cook majority of the foods myself, removed toxic people and situations/environments. This has all led to my symptoms getting better.
However, the seb derm/hair thinning issue is still persisting. It used to be all over my face, but now only persists on my forehead and eyebrows/scalp.
I want to get rid of the issue completely. And I want some advice. I have posted on here a few times, and I never get a thorough response. I know no one can tell me for sure, but any advice would do from experienced people in this topic.
I have done alot of gut work, so making my own sauerkraut/kefir and really trying to stock up on probiotics and incorperating them in my daily diet. It has helped alot and I noticed things like athletes foot/jock itch severely reducing to almost nothing, and my seb derm does get slightly better. But I have just realised this is not attacking the root cause.
I want to know if it sounds like my liver has been damaged. After alot of reading, i have drank alot of alcohol in the past, bad diet, and also tetracycline Antibiotics which claim that it does do some liver damage.
I have booked myself in next week for colon hydrotherapy as i am doing a Liver Flush (colonics before and after) and also getting a coffee implant done. Judging from others, I need to be Liver Flushing every 2/3 weeks this year. That is my goal, I want to do many of these as I think that is what it will take. Im not looking to do one and then being annoyed when it doesn't work. I understand this is a long term situation which may have to persist throughout this year. And then doing regular enemas also.
I just want to know if i am on the right track. It feels like I have tried everything else, and this is my last hope! The last two years have been a living nightmare for me especially when you have something effecting your face! but i have not given up and sincerely believe this is the only way i would listen to the messages my body is giving me.
If anyone can give me some advice to let me know if i have identified the root cause of my problems I would really appreciate it!

Seb derm often have at least 2 of the next 4 components:
- liver component (congested liver)
- intestinal component (dysbiosis, fungus, candida)
- food intolerance (often sugars, grains and alcohol that feeds fungus )
- allergy (an allergy to a soap, toothpaste, shampoo, aftershave, cosmetics or even some foods like milk , nuts or top 8 allergens)
Because of so many different problems and cofactors causing seb derm, people often struggle to cure it.

So I got my colonic done and got quite alot out, the hydrotherapist said the session went well.
i did the Liver Flush last night. I had about 5 bowel movements in the morning and got alot of stones out. The toilet water was dark green, and there were these small pebble type bright green stones i got out.
I am feeling quite nauseous though today ( i think from the Epsom Salts ). Overall I feel abit better though..especially mentally
I just wanted to know what type of food you would recommend for me to eat in the next few days post flush?

This is a reply to # 2,399,272If you know your blood type, check the lists for the Blood Type Diet .
Definitively try to consume some salad with some olive oil and lemon juice every day.
Olive oil and lemon juice daily helps cleanse and cure liver.
Also drinking raw eggs daily (1-3 eggs) helps cleanse the liver and the intestines daily
Also eating fresh raw ocean fish can help cleanse the liver ;
It is easier for me to tell you what you should not eat, as that is far more important than what you should eat.
- foods fried in deep oil, like french fries, donuts, fried chicken, fried shrimps etc ;
- industrially processed foods, foods with added food additives , preservatives ;
- Sugar , alcohol , coffee , too strong spices , sauces , etc,
- bad industrially processed fats
- foods made with flour (if you can not avoid it 100%, eliminate at least most of it)
- cheese
- juices from a box or bottle , pasteurized
Example of some foods that are healthy for the liver:
- fresh raw vegetable , or fresh raw vegetable juices , fresh raw fruit juices , fresh raw orange juice (not juice from a box !!!)
- fresh raw fish
- fresh raw eggs
- fresh raw milk ;
- sprouted seeds
- fresh raw nuts like almonds , walnuts, hazelnuts ets ;
Of course, if some food is your SD trigger or you are allergic to it , you avoid it, like f. example milk or eggs or nuts or whatever else you may have problem tolerating or consuming.

This is what my current diet looks like:
- salads (probably 4 times a week) will start putting oilive oil on with lemon
- prepare all my meals from home - usually stir fry vegetables with some spices, cooked: chicken, turkey lamb, and white fish which i eat with small portions of rice or noodles
- sometimes just eat fruit on its own as a meal or juice (fresh orange, grapefruit and lemon juice i have been consuming lately)
- i have cut out all processed foods around 5 months ago. I make all of my food myself most of the time, i rarely eat out anymore unless its a special occasion
- consume my own home made sauerkraut from time to time
- I also eat home made spelt bread from time to time this is the only wheat i consume. it only has few ingredients in it.
Is Goats cheese acceptable to eat? I don't really eat alot of cow cheese anymore.
does this sound like im eating properly for healing the body? I dont really eat alot of fish, so i doubt i will eat raw fish! I will try the raw eggs though..
I will definitely check out the Blood Type Diet ,

I doubt anyone can answer that question correctly, but you.
You try small amount of cheese, and if it does not give you bad symptoms, in about 3-7 days you try double as much .... and you simply find out the answer to that question by testing yourself.

Yes, it does.
Beware, some people with Seb-Derm react to many fruits and some nuts.
Try sometimes living for 7-14 days on no-fruit diet to see if fruits are your Seb-Derm trigger.

This is a reply to # 2,398,697Did you heal your seb derm with liver flushing? I have all your symptoms and have started flushing and am on flush #5 but I haven’t seen any changes. Please tell me what helped you.

I'm not the original poster but since you haven't received an answer yet I'll try to share some advice. Regarding liver flushes if you are on you 5th and not improving I'd stop and look for other causes. Dr. Hulda Clark recommended doing just one and only after a kidney and gut cleanse protocol. I did follow her protocols and after the liver flush all the stones went out easily and I felt much better, my mistake was keep doing liver cleanses. I did 3 and noticed that with each subsequent cleanse less and less stones came out which I believed was a good sign.
Years later I did colon hydrotherapy and the therapist noticed several stones coming out of my colon. It seems that just after the protocols the intestines are prepared to expel the stone but after the 1st cleanse many stones get trapped inside the intestines. So, if I were you I'd stop doing more cleanses and I'd do a colon hydrotherapy to get out the stones that may be on your intestine. The worst part is that the therapist warned me that if there are stones in the small intestine they will be stuck there since the colon hydrotherapy doesn't reach the small intestine.
Apart from that the cause of your SD may be what Whiteshark already mentioned; a food intolerance or allergy, a metal toxicity, a fungal or parasitic infection, you must treat each possibility and rule them all out. A good place to start is with your diet and the metal toxicity and there's a great article that, although is titled Home Remedies for Cystic Acne really talks about the root causes of skin disorders and list several therapies; at home or by professionals that address many skin problems and help with detoxification. The article will give you some tools to start treating each possible cause.
