I finally broke down and bought an Oxygen tank it has a regulator on it and is new never used.
I plan to plug it in directly to my Steam Sauna for an Oxygen Sauna. I can not afford an ozone concentrator as of yet.
I also plan to buy a face mask and sleep with the oxygen for pure clean fresh air at night while I sleep.
Can anyone give me any tips on where to get my oxygen and what settings I should use at night?
Also the settings for the Sauna?
I have been reading some great books and have access to a Hyperbaric chamber therapy in a town 80 miles away from me that is if the Doctors/clinic say yes without a Doctors referral but boy is it very expensive to have those treatments.

before I can answer any of your questions, it would be helpful to know what size the O2 tank is and what settings does the regulator have on it for flow control? The reason I'm asking is that if it's just a small 240 litre tank and the regulator does not go below 1 lpm (litre per minute), then you would have only 240 minutes of oxygen.

The Tank says " Medical Oxygen Jumbo D Cylinder"
637.2 Liter capacity at 70F.
I hope this helps the regulator says it goes to 3000 not sure how I will now the amount of out put it goes from refill to 1000 then 2000 says full then up to 3000.
Also is it okay to get this oxygen at the welding shops to breath at night in a mask correct? Anyway to make sure its pure and clean since I will be breathing it in?
Any advice is very much appreciated.

Welding oxygen is just as pure as medical oxygen. the only possible difference is the purging of the tanks. They both come from the same sources.If you're worried about contaminants from a welding oxygen tank, a filter van be put in the oxygen line after the regulator. These are usually available from the same welding oxygen suppliers.
The numbers you're quoting on your regulator refer to the pressure in the oxygen tank or how full the tank is. They do not refer to the flow rates of oxygen from the regulator. What settings are there on the regulator in terms of flow rates? eg. a pediatric regulator used for most ozone therapies go from 1/32 lpm (litres per minute) to 3 lpm in incremental settings. Most regulators have variable settings. The only difference between regulators is the ability to control flow rates. Regulators meant for breathing start at 1 lpm and go up to sometimes 5 lpm.
A 640 litre tank is still a small tank by oxygen standards but at 1/32 lpm flow rate will give many hours of oxygen.

I am a little slow now I found the part you are talking about.
It goes from 1/32 - 3.
I hope I got the right tank. I don't mind it so much being smaller because I will be moving it from my bedroom to my office bedroom backand forth.
Have you heard of people getting benefits from sleeping with oxygen mask at night?
I just want to wake up not stuffy or puffy. I want to not be breathing any dust mites or spores anything like that just pure clean air while I sleep and my body is healing.

You have a pediatric oxygen regulator suitable for use with an ozone generator or for breathing. If I were you and didn't want to be going to the welding shop or oxygen company every few days to fill the tank, I'd use only 1/8 to 1/4 lpm while sleeping. I see no reason why you would not receive benefits from this. Extra oxygen clears the mind and promotes healing. Even at 1/8 lpm you'll only get 5120 minutes or 85 hours of oxygen. The tank is a great size to transport between rooms. Kudos to you for your purchase. Best of luck and welcome to oxygen therapy. Now all you need is an ozonator.

The higher flow regulators are meant for breathing oxygen, the lower ones for ozone applications. I still haven't heard from you what the regulator's outputs are. Any regulator can be used for breathing. It's all a question of how much pure oxygen you wish to mix with the room air in your mask and how quickly you wish to empty your tank. If I needed oxygen to sleep, I would probably use no more than 1/2 litre per minute going into the mask. Standard medical practice for trauma is between 3 to 5 litres per minute in hospitals. You be the judge and the guinea pig. I do not believe even large amounts of oxygen can harm you. If you don't need it, you just breathe it out. However, the body needs other gases too, so 100% oxygen is probably not great.

I just feel like I want to breath fresh pure air while I sleep. Every since we have lived in this house for 8 years I feel allergy/toxic feeling. This house gets so dusty it is an older house we have remodeled but I have a few ideas why I feel so stuffy but wihtout gong into all that I just want to breath some fresh air while I sleep.
I had it checked for Mold and that was negetive. I pretty much have it pinned down.
I am 42 and in pretty good health but I want to just see if this helps.
Also just hoping it helps my circulation,heart and lungs in general.
I am not sure exacally how to do this.
I would like a mask that fits over the mouth and nose do you think I need a mask that does not cover my mouth do I need room air too?
I am sorry to sound so dumb but I have no idea what to do here I don't want to harm myself.

There are no dumb questions!
Most standard oxygen masks that cover the face have holes in the side which let in room air to mix with the oxygen. Myself,I would not breathe 100 % oxygen for more than a minute or two. It's nice every now and then to take a good whiff of oxygen. Clears the head. A nasal cannula might work well for you. It's light and unobtrusive and if you hook it behind your ears, it stays on really well.
Maybe you have out-gassing from all the building materials? Most every type of building material these days has formaldehyde in it and it takes years if not decades to out-gas. Just a thought, especially if you have no mold.

You seem to know alot about all this Oxygen stuff so I hope you don't mind all my questions.
I read this on a forum don't ask where I found it in Google and was wondering what you think about what was being said.
"I have heard people who are fit and healthy say that breathing 100% oxygen made them feel more live, but this may well be a pschological effect of knowing they are breathing it. People who have pulmonary idsease and other diseases where there is hypoxia in peripheral tissues state that without regular (or constant) oxygen they feel very lethargic, often cannot get out of bed and have no energy, exhuastion.
Unfortunately oxygen itself is quite a volatile gas. Oxygen causes free radical production which (in very complex mechanisms) can cause mutations in the human genome, which may result in loss of cell function and possibly cancer depending on the site and severity of the mutations. Oxygen itself is also a toxic gas at high partial pressures, meaning that any cause of an increased partial pressure (increase in oxygen percentage such as breathing 100% oxygen, increase in total gas pressure such as breathing underwater) that causes the partial pressure to be higher than normal can result in cellular damage to lung tissues. So elderly patients in hospital are giving breaks in oxygen therapy if they can tolerate it to reduce lung tissue damage. (of course, some can't and if they get to this stage the prognosis is very poor)."

First of all there is seldom such a thing as breathing 100% oxygen. The oxygen supplied by a mask or cannula is 100% but it mixes with room air upon inhalation and depending on the flow rate from the regulator,the actual percentage of oxygen can be as little as 3% and as great as perhaps 85%.Seldom 100%
I'm no biologist or chemist so I cannot offer comments on the artcle, but I do know that oxygen by itself is merely a catalyst to combustion as opposed to a cumbustible gas itself. The work of Otto Warburg refutes the concept of cellular damage by oxygen and on the contrary, his work states that any cell deprived of an oxygen molecule at the cell receptor site can become cancerous, not the opposite. He won a Nobel prize for his work.
That's about all I am quialified to comment on that.

I sure appreciate you answering my questions. I am so excited and plan to go and see if I can get a mask today and get my tank filled up.
Thank you for taking the time to explain how it works as far as the room air and the mask and how much to use.
I guess this tank will most likely last me about 10 days at a time with sleeping if I use it for 8 hours a night.
As for my steam sauna how much of that would I use?
As for my house I found out last year that they come around here during Mosquito season for months out of the year and spray our area at night for Mosquitos while we are sleeping They just drive by with the fog going and saturate the area we live down by a creek and I guess they spray anywhere in our town that is by any water. That did not make me feel so good. They do this at 2-3 am when your sleeping with your windows open and coolers on isnt that nice?
I also think it has something to do with pesticides I was reading about a chemical I think it was called choralide(Spelling) I cannot remeber the name but they used it on the older houses for termites they saturated the ground under and around the homes before they built them until they found out years later like in 1988 they stopped doing this and so it will always leach this out into the air around the home.
This house is in a wonderful area and its a beautiful home but something around here is getting my health just keeping me toxic puffy and it is worse in the winter when I am in all day.
Also I am home all day because of my online business so We maybe looking at selling and moving sometime next year. Thats what my gut feeling is telling me anyway.
You will be hearing alot from me around here in this forum I look forward to sharing info..

You're most welcome. best of luck with the oxygen filling. I think you have a few good ideas now. You mentioned you have an Alpine. If there are that many toxins in and around your house, keep that Xl hummin' at full bore. Also make sure you clean the plates and filters. They work way better when serviced regularly.

I apprecaite your imput. I plan to check out renting a tank like you said just need to make some calls.
Funny you mentioned my Alpine I do run it most days and I just cleaned it about 2 days ago. Thanks for bringing that up.
Oh I wanted to ask you do you know of any good books or resources regarding a protocal for using the Saunas?
I am wondering what I need to be taking or doing while using it so much.
I am trying to drink more water but obviously not because my urine is smelling very strong never smelled like this before.
One person told me to drink Sea Salt afterwards my friend told me no don't do that.
I have been trying to remember to take minerals and drinks lots of water but wondering if you know of a source to get more info on this.

Dr Saul Pressman's book "The Story of Ozone" covers the staem sauna very well. It's available online by doing a google search. You may not you'll find a protocol for oxygen saunas, but there's lots of info on ozone saunas.
If the urine is dark and strong-smelling, it's an indication of toxins being released. Increase the intake of water to facilitate this toxin flushing.
I personally take a pinch of celtic Sea Salt with many of my glasses of water, particularly at night before bed. Wars have been fought on this planet over salt and I feel it's a vital element for the body. A good site to research salt is http://www.watercure.com I feel that salt is very misunderstood in our society in light of the two or more decades of controversy on the subject of it's role in the human body. I do not believe we should be ingesting commercial, iodized salt. We get way too much of that in every packaged food.
