Yes, it is extreamly hard to give up all sugar, and sometimes things that you eat that you think are healthy actually are not. Quick example is myself, I've been eating these Nutri Grain bars for the past year, being proud of myself for eating a "healthy" snack. Well once I've stumbled across this
Sugar issue, I've looked at the
Sugar contents on these bars and it was a staggering 56g of
Sugar per bar - and I would eat like 2-3 of these per day, every day - this is on top of any other sugar snack I would it!
Why us, unfortunate people, have this reaction to sugar is a different issue and is probably not easily known, it is most likely our genetic predisposition. A lot like any other person with any other allergy.
