Swallowed Crown... Urgent Advice Needed!!

I need some advice. My husband just swallowed his crown. Of immediate concern is the fact that it's making its way into his digestive tract.

I did some searching on the internet, and there's a chance that it could become lodged somewhere in his digestive/elimination track causing problems. I don't want him to have to go to a doctor to resolve this issue. So what could he do to help the crown to pass without any problems?

My inclination is to have him drink Epsom Salts.

Any advice ASAP would be really appreciated.

P.S. And of course we're worried about the fact that this crown has mercury in it. *sigh*
