Yes, 87-05 Grand Ave Elmhurst is his address. Umm, I went there at night, it was pouring rain, and everything was written in Chinese so I don't have a good memory of the area. The one thing is that his place is not on the street, its underground (you have to walk down a couple flights of steps from the street to get there). I mapquested it just in case and it brought me there just fine. I can ask my friend for more specific landmarks etc if you'd like.
And we bought him a light fruit cake from a bakery down the street haha. I don't think its necessary to do, especially if your friend is Chinese. Let me know if you need any more info, take care.
