There is a possibility that you consume too much sugar/sweets in the form of Sugar itself or corn syrup which is added to all types of food such as sodas, juices , yogurts and many other foods. Read labels when you start buying foods. (If you eat alot of fast foods or foods that you are unable to read ingredients you may be getting more Sugar than you realize). I read that the sweeteners destroy the healthy bacteria. The real problem does not lie in the vagina but in the intestines. Your blood supply is nourished by nutrition that is taken from the food you digest. This food is of course passing through your intestines. The over abundance of sugars in your intestines goes into the vagina through the blood stream and cause an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina. There is s destruction of healthy bacteria; actually what happens is the Sugar causes an imbalance by causing the bacteria to multiply to an unhealthy level. By treating the symptoms in the vagina, you will never cure the problem. Decrease your sweet consumption. Eat an apple or an orange if you need sweets. Eat plain yogurt and put frsh fruit in it.
