I think a full spectrum amino acid supplement is a good idea. amino acids are the buidling blocks of nuerotransmitters and I believe they should be taken in full spectrum, not just one or two.
how much fat are you getting? fat is the MOST critical nutrient for the brain. Cod liver oil, flax oil, shark oil, raw butter, hemp oil, and fish like sardines and salmon are all critical for
Depression issues. sardines are also high in tryptophan.
as far as B vitamin go you need B12 for sure. SAMe is a methyl donor and B12 is methylcobalamin, so they work synergistally together. be sure your B12 is methylcobalamin, not the less pure cyanocabalamin. and if you take B12 be sure to take a complete B complex with it.
