i'm on day 5 of my fast today and on the first four days i also lost about two pounds a day. (today i was only down 1 pound). i just thought that was due to "water weight"... like, i ate a few salty things a few days before i started my fast, so i know that i was retaining a bit of water, so those first few days of more rapid weightloss was not so much fat but water? Just a theory!
