Perhaps, you can look it this way. Its always good to balance things. Nothing should be isolated without a complementary food or vitamin or mineral. Those foods discussed above are valuable in their own right but not in excess. People tend to do things in excess. And everybody is different. For instance, I cant eat chocolate because I am allergic. So, soneone could eat cabbage and do just fine and someone else, its a problem with their thyroid. I would just find your truth and see what feels right. Its not an exact science.
