Re: What happened to the thread about goitrogens?

the garbage on the debate forum is not worth the electricity it takes to maintain it in cyberspace. those people who haunt there are so lame they must bring up genuine kooks who have come along and hold them up as if they were abused. psalm 23 comes to mind. what a piece of work. that person was totally made up or so damaged as to be well beyond the scope of this venue. i still vote for the former.

i say the thread is lost. start a new one. i still dont have a hard answer to the interesting question, "do goitrogens inhibit uptake of iodine? in the thyroid only? or in every cell?" but a better question would be, "do goitrogenic veggies differentiate between the halogens or do they inhibit uptake of all halogens?" i tend to side with the position that they are good for health overall. got a big head of cauliflower, organic and all, in the fridge to dig into tonight. mmmmmmmmm.
