My husband was bit on the neck by a brown recluse 10 years ago. He nearly died. The doc sent him home with motrin and said it was an inflamed pimple. After two days of watching his mouth foam up with yeast, his pallet dropping and a red line form 12 inches below the wound, I took him back to the E.R. I told them that he had a brown recluse bite and brought pictures with me from my first aid training class. One of the nurses said he needed to go to the childrens ward because he was a teenager and she refused to admit him. My husband was 32 at the time. I screamed at the woman and told her to send me out a doctor immediately. They told me they would restrain me, the hospitals head doctor walked by while I was screaming at them and said, "son, looks like you've got yoursef a brown recluse bite!" Everyone shut up then and off we were wisked to a room for treatment. I did The Master Cleanse for 7 days and the mark came back. Now I wonder if the Iodine would be able to restore some things that were lost or modified from that bite?
