Re: A poll for those with Seborrheic Dermatitis: Let's get to the bottom of this!

Now questions:
1. What health problems did you already have when you were diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis ? - bacteria skin infection, thin hair, dry skin.

2. What health problems did you develop after your diagnosis with SD? - flaky and more dry skin, depression, acne.

3. How much exposure did you have to Antibiotics in the year leading up to your diagnosis of SD? Total of 2 month on heavy antiobiotic (every 2 week another type) in pill form and after that 5 month on Extencillin.

4. Is there anyone that did not take any Antibiotics whatsoever in the year preceding their diagnosis? In my case all started AFTER i started taking god damn pills. Hmm never thought about that connection. Something must be here.

5. Is there anyone here with SD that has never taken Antibiotics ? Before that I cant' remember taking ever any antiobiotic, 3 year ago was my first time. I'm 23 now and before that I was healthy and never seen a doctor except dentist.

6. Does anyone believe that antibiotics have absolutely nothing to do with SD? If so, why? There could be some connection. They must have damaged something, some mechanism that was balancing good/bad bacteria. And during that time bad bacteria have managed to take control of that mechanism and shield it shelf from our immune system and good bacteria.

7. For those of you that have taken antibiotics at some point since your diagnosis, have you noticed any worsening during the course of taking them? Or did a bad outbreak of SD follow a course of antibiotics? In some way I could say YES, cause there were day when nothing even strongest shampoo and creams didn't worked. I wanted to rip off my scalp and skin from my face.

8. How many of you are on immunosuppressive medicine? If so, did you develop SD after beginning this medicine? - none

9. Do you have any digestive problems? (I know this is a little personal, but it's important. Irregular bowel movements, loose stool, diarrhea, etc.). Well just OK most of the time. I mean no one can have perfect stool all the time. It's depend's what we eat and when.

10. Finally, what are your personal methods in keeping SD under control? (Please keep this short. I know we could all go on forever, but summarize it in a few concise sentences.)

Here's my first receipt that helped my a lot. Omega 3 (3000mg per day) + Vitamin B complex massive dosage + washing every day face with H&S antidandruff shampoo. After I put Nivea creme (blue one in a pot). Beside nivea I found great creme from Bioderma called Sensibio DS. That stuff is complete natural and works amazing and combined with omega and H&S KICKASS COMBINATION.I'm not using it anymore cause I don't need it anymore, my SD is 90% under control with just washing head 2 a week with H&S antidandruff.

Now I'm testing liver flushing, today was my 3rd flush and I'm combining it with flax oil, borage oil, primrose oil, alpha lipoic acid, Milk Thistle, NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine), coconut oil and barley grass. It's been a month now and still no visible results.I guess It's still early to tell. If there is any progress I will report it here, don't worry.
