I have been taking bloodroot for five years. My first run was for one month, non-stop, daily. I felt much better and quit taking it for three months. My asthma came back with a veangance and within a few days I was wheezig with every breath again. I then went on a two year run. At the end of it I was taking eighteen caps per day. The most I have ever been able to keep down is 5 caps, which is 3/4 of a teaspoon. The recommended dose is two teaspoons in juice. I can now take a break for a couple of months without significant set back. Iodine has helped me maintain my progress.

I do not recommend it for most people. It is not a gentle healer.
